The Technical Support Working Group has released the RCIED Card for use by military forces, Federal emergency and law enforcement officers, State and Local Fire, Law Enforcement, HAZMAT, Bomb Squad, EMS, and other emergency/public services organizations who may be involved with the evacuation of areas affected by a terrorist bomb threat.
The RCIED Card is a two sided, laminated 4x6 card with a pictorial representation of RCIED threats and a series of actions to take if they are encountered. The card is available through the Government Printing Office.
The purpose of the card is to make this information readily available to military forces and emergency responders who may encounter a terrorist threat incident.
The RCIED Card is a restricted document available only to Federal, Allied, State, and local governments involved in security and counter-terrorism activities. Contractors providing security services to these agencies may also procure the document. All orders must first be confirmed by the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) prior to being sent to the Government Printing Office (GPO).
