Best Practices and Guidelines for CBR Mass Personnel Decontamination Training Support Package
The Technical Support Working Group has released the Best Practices and Guidelines for Chemical, Biological, and Radiological (CBR) Mass Personnel Decontamination Training Support Package (MPD TSP) for use by all emergency responders confronting the need to decontaminate large groups of people affected by CBR events.
The Best Practices and Guidelines for CBR Mass Personnel Decontamination TSP contains information on the following: Response to CBR Event, Pre-Decontamination Procedures, Decontamination, Post-Decontamination, Scene Considerations, Identifying the Hazard, and also contains a student assessment, glossary, acronym list, and resources.
The MPD TSP is a 288 page publication within a 3 ring binder containing an Instructor Guide, Instructor CD containing PowerPoint™ instructional slides, video files, and Student Guide. Also included are a Train-the-Trainer video and Classroom Support DVDs.
Due to the sensitive nature of its content, the MPD TSP is a restricted document available only to Federal, Allied, State, and local governments involved in security and counter-terrorism activities. Contractors providing services and training to these agencies may also procure the TSP with the sponsorship of their contracting agency. The MPD TSP is available from the Government Printing Office (GPO). All orders must first be confirmed by the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) prior to being sent to the Government Printing Office (GPO).
