12.06.2007 » CTTSO Threat Day and Requirements Meetings
Threat Day is the kickoff for the CTTSO FY 2009 Business Planning Cycle commencing a bottom-to-top approach for evaluating technology programs that characterize the National Combating Terrorism Research and Development Program. CTTSO continues its business planning cycle with a full round of requirements meetings occurring through January. The security classification level for these briefings is SECRET and attendance is restricted to invitees only.
Foreign Language Tech Forum
The Foreign Language Tech Forum announces a call for applicants to brief Government representatives on state-of-the-art foreign language technologies. The first of four Forums will take place on February 21, 2008 and will focus on content extraction technologies. Applications must be received no later than December 10, 2007. This Forum is for information sharing only, and is not to be construed as committing the Government to any contract, promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind. As a component of the Department of Defense (DoD), the CTTSO is responsible, by law, to ensure the protection of human subjects and the humane treatment of animals used in research projects. Offerors proposing solutions that include the use of animals or human subjects are required, as a condition of award, to demonstrate compliance with the federal protection standards required by the DoD.
